This course is designed for those with a healthcare background who want to become AHA-certified BLS Instructors.

The AHA BLS Instructor Course certifies you to teach:
• BLS Provider courses, renewals, and skill sessions
• All AHA Heartsaver programs, including CPR (adult, child, infant), AED management and application, Basic First Aid, Pediatric First Aid/CPR, and Bloodborne pathogens

BLS Instructor certification is valid for 2 years.
• Upon meeting renewal requirements (having assisted with / taught 4 AHA classes within 2 years) you may renewal by simply completing your BLS Instructor Renewal Application and purchasing your eCards (~$75).

The course fee ($325) includes:
• BLS Instructor classroom course
• Monitoring of your first class (required by AHA)
• Lunch, drinks, and refreshments
